Where to Base
Most Grand Teton trips run out of Jackson — the full-service Wyoming mountain town 12 miles south, with flights in, restaurants, and the largest lodging range near the park. Teton Valley on the Idaho side is the quieter alternative for visitors coming from the west, with lower prices and a less-trafficked approach to the Tetons' western slopes. Open a town for its lodging, things to do, and where it puts you in relation to the park.
