Camping in Bryce Canyon

Two campgrounds sit inside the park near the rim — North and Sunset — and both fill months ahead for spring and fall, so reserve the moment your dates open on Recreation.gov. Both are at 8,000 feet, so nights run cold even in summer; pack a warmer bag than the dates suggest. If the in-park sites are gone, the private campgrounds in Bryce Canyon City and Tropic and the dispersed sites on the surrounding Dixie National Forest land are the overflow.
